Dual-Boot: How to properly install Windows 7/10/11 after Ubuntu

If you plan to install Windows after Ubuntu (not the other way around) then the GRUB Boot Menue will on the one hand not be loaded, because the priority is now set on Windows Boot Menue and secondly neither the GRUB nor the Windows Boot Menue will automatically recognize the other System Partition among each other.

Thats where the Boot-Repair-Disk comes into play. Managing and repairing a GRUB MultiBoot-Loader is only recommended, if all system partitions are located on the same drive. If otherwise then consider to install each OS on its own drive and use the modern UEFI Bootloader from the BIOS instead to boot into the OS of choice. The BIOS recognizes all UEFI partitions and lists them inside the Boot Menue after pressing the special Boot Menue keystroke.
